Glamour Wednesday!!

So, I decided to have some structure to this blog thingy.... I will make each Wednesday about some beauty product that I love or want to try. I am not being paid for none of this, so don't think of it as solicitation. I'm just a girly girl, so hopefully my suggestions can help or give you an opportunity to try something new.

Grammy Highlights

So, I am my own fashionista...... as a fat girl, I cant really get into Fendi and Gucci, even if I save my hard earned minimum wage dollars they simply don't want to see my ass in their clothes. So I have my own sense of style! I will post some of my favorites from last night.

I don't care what y'all say... I LOVE this bitch.... Gaga in Armani.

Heidi Klum in Pucci. Look at the tits on her! Motherhood never done someone as much justice! Ashanti looking "pageant chic" I liked it though. Way to try and stay relevant Shani.

All in all the Grammys were pretty entertaining. I could have done without Em, Weezy and Drizzy though. The MJ tribute, while touching, was a snoozefest. I would have rather seen Celine and Carrie Underwood just fight to the finish on who is the most powerful white voice in the game. (My money is on Celine) Usher was over the top as usual. I guess he wants to shine with his newly single self. Also, I know it's 2010 and all, but we all don't just have 3-D glasses laying around the house. My eyes were burning like shit. Mike's kids said a touching little something at the end. I am still yearning for something more. What is an MJ tribute without dancing?? Damn that Chris Brown and his iron fist! He has ruined my chance to see a real tribute due to his current blackballing.

I saved the best for last though.......... My love, my better half.... The Alpha and Omega......

Thoughts on a Sunday

I really want some McDonald's... but then I have to get up, decide whether or not I'm taking the dog with me, get gas, drive to McDonald's and THEN hope I still made it by breakfast hours. Hmmm..... How bad to I really wanna be sitting on the toilet today is the real question. Mickey D's runs through me.

Anywhoo.... What's been going on y'all?? This Haiti shit has got my brain rattled. I was so sorry to hear about the earthquake and have donated 30 of my hard working dollars already. Not to be pessimistic, though since they have raised over 50 MILLION dollars from the Telethon last Friday, wouldn't you think The Red Cross would STOP asking us for money?? I mean, how much do they need??? Where is it going?? These are questions I'm sure everyone has, though are too afraid to ask in fear of sounding insensitive. Luckily, I have no fears. I want to see that my money is feeding people and building makeshift hospitals. All I hear about is looting and thieves on CNN, so I'm like, where where is all the money?? Hopefully they will rebuild and move on from this tragedy.

OK, I'm off to do absolutely nothing. I planned on my decision whether or not to go get breakfast to be my most difficult thought of the day.

The REAL Hangover

HUNGOVER!!!

I mean I am on some head knocking shit right now! Everything looks blurry.

I am off some Vodka, Cranberry and Red Bull from last nights festivities. It was a friend of mine's boyfriend's surprise birthday party. (That was a mouthful) I couldn't say anything before as it was a surprise and all. I wasn't trying to be the spoil sport. He seemed pretty enthused.

The club was in Georgetown, so if any of you know the DC area, we were getting our International District on. Flat assed Asian women for everyone!! Almost made me homesick. All of our clubs in Seattle are made up of this demographic.

I got my chit chat on with girlfriends I haven't seen in a while. There was a man with a "Bert" sweater on who kept us pretty amused. I feel like anyone bold enough to wear a Sesame Street character over the age of 5 must be very secure with themselves.

Purposely Neglectful

Just saying Hi!





Been neglectful on purpose. I started taking online classes, which actually aren't so bad... I am trying to knock this degree out, so I can say I have done something successful since the 10 years I graduated from High School. You know, other than successfully got fat, boring and married.





Any good movies out? I REFUSE to see Avatar. I feel like any movie with that much marketing I need to rebel against. Plus I am not a Sci-Fi nerd, blue people don't amuse me. I wasn't even a fan of the smurfs.

Other than that, Looks like it will be a long weekend of washing clothes and being broke. TGIF anyway.
